It’s understandable that many people feel some uncertainty about starting therapy, especially if they have had unhelpful experiences in the past.

An initial call gives you the chance to ask any questions you have, and see what it feels like to talk to me before making any decisions about whether you want to go ahead with therapy or not. It’s free of charge and lasts about 15 minutes.

You don’t need to navigate this alone.

Many people believe that they should be able to work through their struggles on their own, and feel discouraged or concerned when they can’t.

But working with a psychologist means you are supported and guided through the hard times so you can move forward with your life instead of staying stuck.

Previous clients have described therapy as invaluable, calming, safe and effective, and say they leave therapy feeling confident and able to support themselves day to day.

“I now feel like myself again, I feel like I have gained my character and personality back. Therapy was incredibly helpful. I will look back with pride that I made some really good progress with my mental health.”

“I was very reluctant and apprehensive about the therapy process and I am relieved that I found someone so professional, empathetic and effective at what they do. Susannah was extremely compassionate and incredibly perceptive with the ability to work with structured exercises as well as respond more spontaneously with huge insight.”

“I am making positive progress with life and family relationships along with a more positive and confident approach to work and myself! Your support has been invaluable.”

Choosing a therapist to work with can feel daunting. I understand, I’ve been there too.
